MANDATE

The Niagara Musical Theatre  & Voice Festival was founded to foster a high standard of musical theatre and vocal performance through a competitive festival for young singers.   It provides an opportunity for excellence in performance accompanied by critiques and workshops with professional adjudicators.

The Gala Festival Concert will be held Sunday March 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Yellow Door Theatre in Virgil.  Students will be selected by the adjudicators to perform, scholarships will be awarded and students recommended to proceed to the Provincial Music Festival will be announced.  

​The Niagara Musical Theatre & Voice Festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon; 1:30 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. February 27 - March 3, 2018 (Singing - February 27 - March 1; Musical Theatre February 28 - March 3 ) at St. Davids United Church, 1453 York Road (Singing) and Yellow Door Theatre, Line 2, Virgil (Musical Theatre).

Each participant will receive a program with their entry into the festival.  Entrance to the festival and parking is free for everyone.

The Niagara Musical Theatre & Voice Festival is a proud member of the Ontario Music Festivals Association, and as such, exceptional singers can be recommended to compete at the Provincial Music Festival held in Hamilton June 11 - 18, 2018.
